Susan, luckily its been quite easy this time divesting positions for profit taking. Even for short term shorters today was ample time to get in and enjoy some short positions without getting squeezed like the ones that shorted when the market was exploding to the upside. I decided not to short anything but rather to check on the stocks that bucked the trend and the ones that were actually coming out of corrections already after short term profit taking. What I will probably do is get into some specialized mutual funds like Japan and/or some global fund just to diversify.

I'm really happy for you Susan. Sooooo... no more stomach churning whipsaws as in GNET?

I'm holding some of my AFCI (flipped on the way down and rebought close to day lows) and COVD (this one keeps getting purtier and purtier, up 2 afterhours)...

AFCI did something terrific... hedged their 5 million shares of CSCO, acquired much like you did with AIRO...http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/000209/ca_advance_1.html I have enough CSCO in my IRA now that's why I let AIRO go if you remember. Current events: I'm slowly accumulating AMD for a long timer, great potential IMO... keeping up with the frantic pace of "staying ahead" (would you believe?) of Intel in the CPU speed department. Next is chipset... hard roads ahead but brighter...

Best,
SF
