Notice how carefully worded the statement was. No direct reference to previously announced schedule. I wonder if they are hoping the market will "forget". Some of that depends on whether the media picks up on it. You can be sure they weren't going out of their way to fax this release out to The Citizen or others...

Tomorrow should be interesting.

I still don't understand your strategy.

Why short against a long position, why not just sell it?

or is your long position non-tradable (eg. a convertible debenture).

I simply sold part of my long position in anticipation of today's announced delay.
