Jim Lurgio had implied that Ericy wouldn't try to get the patents invalidated if they didn't think they had infringed upon them. I made the valid point that a vigorous and broad offense is the best defense and provided the simple-minded analogy that IDC boosters are so fond of and then the nameless lawyer started blustering about all kinds of silly things like;

Think about this for a moment. Why did Nokia honor IDC's TDMA/GSM patents? Is their legal department that stupid not to recognize what Nokia and 22 other companies have seen? Is IDC a favorite charity?

ERICY has made a big mistake by trying to avoid paying what they owe and they are throwing good money after bad by taking it to the courts.

Like I said , If they didn't infringe then why did they seek to invalidate the patents.

Your comments on providing a broad offense really sparked some good responses. You obviously know as much about law as you do about IDC.

Did you buy MIGR? Not bad almost up 21 % in one day.
