Yes, I do it to keep me happy, and I can't stop. I think I should attend shoe buyers anonymous, but they would make me stop buying shoes, and then I would no longer be happy...I would be grumpy...

My husband is not sympathetic and forgiving about my shoe buying addiction. I have to wait until he is not looking and then sneak them upstairs, to hide amongst the others.
He thinks I have enough shoes...Men don't understand!!!

It's like, how many hammers do you own? A man can never own too many hammers..why? The bottom of a shoe will work just fine...see, multi-purpose. Can you say that about a hammer?

It simply is not true that you buy shoes to keep me happy. You do it to keep you happy. My wife, too, had this shoe thing. I do understand the nature of the obsession. I'm sure your husband is sympathetic and forgiving about this<?i>
