Sigmund,

It's good to hear from you too. I hope everything with you is well.

You may again be correct but I wonder if this time you are letting your emotions influence your technical analysis. What is the significance of longs continuing to feel the stock is a good buy? Why is that dangerous?

There is no significance of longs continuing to feel the stock is a good buy. That is not dangerous. Stating that a stock, one year from now, will return 50-100% is dangerous. It's unfounded. You can't say that about any stock in the market. It's about as close to hype as you can get without it being obvious. Such statements might influence others to take the advice and hold and then one year later be in a quandary when the 50-100% return doesn't materialize.

I'm most bearish on the chart because of the long term circumstances. I want to stress that. The short term 30% decline doesn't worry. It's that that 30% decline happens to destroy a long term trend that began when the stock was just beginning its long rise. Such signs usually foretell more weakness to come.

Conservatively Yours,
Raymond J. Norris
