Khan, something else that has not been addressed is the Vodafone//e-QCOM deal. I am not even certain I understand anything about it, except it is very odd the Vodafone//Mannesmann deal was cut simultaneously with e-QCOM coming into existence. Nineteen hours later there is a deal between e-QCOM and Vodafone. This being in the heartland of GSM causes me to question the deal cautiously.
Just what could be going on?
Martin Thomas

PS: what I meant about the protocol of HDR was not that it was the same as the voice, but that HDR is separate from voice, but apparently the data rate is dependent upon the particular voice protocol under consideration....next generation of voice protocol would carry next generation of HDR, and so on. I will continue to vet the situation, and comment if I am wrong, please. Martin Thomas

With all due respect Alex Cienna is one of the few guys who understands Q. He downgraded it because he fealt stock price wasd a litlle ahead of itself. He actually raised 2001 numbers though. He is the most knowledgable analyst on Q.

lkj:

How about

#5. TDMA/CDMA chipset?

Would not such a chipset provide the pathway for T and others to jump to Q?
