TD, if you're a dude, you ain't a real Texan. Are you one of those guys that fled Michigan in the early 80s to go to the promised land? So GW is connected. McCain got his appointment to Annapolis because his father, and grandfather, were admirals. Forbes didn't make his millions, his daddy did. Gore would be shoveling manure on a farm in Tennessee if he hadn't had a senator for father. I know what my taxes were, and what they are now. I know the conditions of the highways in my area then and now. I know the extent of the surplus in the Texas treasury. Yes, he wants to cut government programs. Those that are sapping the life blood from this nation. We are going on the fourth generation of welfare families whose members have never hit a lick at a snake, and as long as they can stay on the alms roll, they never will. He wants to stop grants like those that study the mating habits of the dung beetle. There is not time enough to list all of the programs that are a total waste of OUR money. Liberals do not understand just who's money it really is. Why don't you go climb El Capitan and jump off. Do you even know where it is? ~H~
