Tony, I haven't been following the SI thread lately but just saw your post regarding the Kosovo contributions. I just wanted to let everyone know that I was one of the contributors and your chronology outlined in the post is exactly how it all happened. You made me an offer of refund just as you stated. (I opted to leave the contribution in place.) It is a sad day when scoundrels will sully honorable actions with slander and insinuations....

A@P, I'm not sure why you posted that to me since it is known that I have a hard time being serious...but I shall try. I think a large part of what you have done is easily verifiable. And it is known that your 'disassociation' with Mr. Tyson has been less than friendly. There have been many claims which don't match the 'feel' of what I know - free and independently - of either involved. So, I see it as, yet another claim of more that will be coming forth, to be filed with the rest that have been claimed. In this, I can only judge by what I have witnessed and verified.....the claim doesn't match what I know so it has no merit, IMHO. Good friends make the best enemies. This is another example. JMHO, lee

Congradulations on doing something good with the best of intentions. Don't let the fools of this world discourage you from doing what you know is right. There will always be those who feel they must attack others, it stems from insecurity and a need to drag others down to their level. I was one of those donors and the events transpired as Tony has described. I have visited San Diego where money was donated to refugees, and met some of the beneficiaries. Although my donation was not tax deductible, I was still happy to have had the opportunity to assist. peter
