How else to explain... 1. Months after Intel introduced its 800Mhz PIII, Dell is building PCs with double the "normal" waiting period. 2. AMD has been making 800Mhz Athlon's in enough quantity to avoid the delay. 3. Gateway's churning out high-end systems twice as quickly as Dell (and reaping the extra profits that go with such efficiency) -- meanwhile Dell continues with Intel-only.
