Re: "NEXT month?"

Unlike the Athlon processor which is stacking up in AMD's warehouses, there's a backlog of demand for CuMine. So even if Intel has much higher availability, it takes time to meet demand while also working off the backlog.

Cirrus - <Does this sound accurate or am I missing something? PB?>

Cirrus, 800's have been shipping since the launch.

They have also been going through the fab lines.

What has been happening in the interim is more equipment coming online that allows more total output. Wafer starts are started in advance of this happening in anticipation of the capacity. As it comes on line wafers begin to move through the line faster, and capacity catches up with the wafers starts, which are usually based on demand.

The parts becoming more available now is totally consistent with what the Intel guys have said would happen, and the reasons have not changed.

This model assumes essentially constant yield and bin split.
