I just set up a separate portfolio in stockwatch for golds .. well, metals .. and the first stock i entered was Kinross ... just traded that one more than any other .. don't have much right now, but it stays high on the list ... here's one scarey thing about k in recent years - as it comes up through and closes above the greenline 3.00 margin level, all of a sudden you've got all this margin credit you didn't have before, and you're tempted to throw it into - guess what - gold stocks, or worse, double up on k ... well, let me tell you, when the metal heads south again even for an hour you can give up your gains a lot faster than you gained them ... i had this happen about three times in three years, all smiles up 25, 30% and then wham, lucky to get out with bank interest ... it's a great leveraged trading vehicle for the PoG though eh.
