Did you catch Chairman McCain on Hardball last night? He came across as very programmed and not too tightly wrapped. It was unsettling to see him go off about global warming when asked a simple question about national parks. Matthews interrupted and went to commercial. When they came back McCain was calmer and answered the guy's question about national parks. There were other moments when McCain appeared to be spinning out of control, like when he answered "because I'm a great American" to a questioner. Matthews went to commercial after that one too. Overall it was a very scripted event for a very programmed candidate.
