In elementary school, a test requiring a student to name "which of the above does not fit" is commonly given. And most children could probably answer that question for the above statement.

Of course identifying, buying and holding technology winners has been the "best" way to build wealth in the last few years. It has benefited a great number of us. And with fortuitous timing, the quick purchase and sale of much more questionable enterprises can succeed as well. Very few non-insiders benefit consistently in those situations, and most wind up making another in a long string of tuition payments to those who are paying attention.

I am always astounded yet gratified that the hope you offer is so warmly received and acted upon to execute this transfer of wealth.
