Did the Gemstar report play positive or negative on the news and to the street.

I have no idea. I'm the world's worst about making those judgements. I saw one report, I think from CBS Marketwatch, that said initial reaction in after-hours trading was slightly positive. Yet I saw many online reports that after-hours pricing was lower.

The one thing I will say about the Street is that I don't think that it understands Gemstar. The Street never has. I think there is much more recent interest in Gemstar that has filtered over from understanding TV Guide, the well-known brand, but the interest still exceeds the understanding.

My opinion.
