Morning, Jeff.

DLJ has a target of 90 on EGAN (2/9):
EGAN announced a definitive agreement to acquire Big Science Company this
morning for $35 million, validating our theme that consolidation in the eCRM
space is happening sooner than we originally thought probable. We believe that
Big Science's leading "chatterbot" technology complements eGain's leading
Web-based eCRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform by bringing a
heightened emphasis to the "Relationship" portion of CRM. The new technology
will be called eGain Assist and will become one of a suite of six integrated
products offered by EGAN. The financials of the deal appear attractive relative
to recent transactions in this space. Big Science currently has 6 paying
customers, which equates to a cost of about $6 million per customer (to
EGAN). More importantly, we believe that the pipeline is strong and expect
announcements pertaining to this in the near term. We continue to believe that
EGAN will emerge as a leader in the exploding eCRM segment of the software
market and reiterate our buy rating and $90 target.
