I've been keeping an eye on the Weekly Charts; I was of a mind that, although they seemed very overbought a week or two ago that it worked off a lot of that condition.

It's close to the Open, else I would doublecheck.

Yeah, looking at the SPX I find similar dates.

So my method is perhaps similar. So, moving that method backwards in time a similar condition existed in early December 1998. The SPX went from a Low of 1137 to a High of 1376 before retracing down to 1277 then moving to new Highs once again.

Throw a Stochastic on the SPX Weekly and you'll see what I mean.
