Is that the "full blown" processor?
In many cases the problem stems from mem/mammary management. Ususally the result of insufficient ca$hing. One can usually enhance performance using it in the "turblow" mode. In older systems, the introduction of a threesome, a third chick ...er, I mean chip, a "co-processor" can help get things moving, especially when it involves figures.

Sometimes internal confilcts can cause system interrupts ("Children interruptus" comes to mind). Its all a matter of how you set up your system interrupts.

With this in mind, we will save the virtues of a "RAM disk" for a later discussion.

Just keep those system upgrades comming.....
