Doesn't work that way in the USA. Only other continents/countries can be nationalistic and get away with it.
Another example is governments subsidizing Airbus while that's an "unfair advantage" for Boeing. On the flip side. This will help AMD with their plant in Dresden Germany, helped along by the German government. Europeans will favor AMD chips over Intels...
If Microsoft was a European company, all would be forgiven despite
Sun... If Sun did file, they are just playing on anti outsider sentiment.
