Just sold my May GMST calls at a slight loss, and used the proceeds to buy GMST common and a small number of August TVGIA UCQFI June 45 calls at 6 3/8. Reason I did this was that GMST didn't move up that much after great earnings, but I like the company's story even better. However, since the general public still doesn't, it may move sideways for a while, so didn't want to take a chance with deteriorating time premiums. I realize May is still a long way ahead, and may not be the best move, but it is worth peace of mind because I can lock the common away. The CC sounded positive on the TV Guide merger, though, and it might close by the end of April. So the June calls on TV Guide are a good arbitrage bet, and the price was pretty cheap. They traded 80 of them so far.

Jill, Poet....Ot, Ot, Ot....

I see that the turmoil continues on your thread...In certain circumstances, disagreements of a constructive nature can help to inform and enlighten all involved...However, the content, and purpose of your recent disputes have become more of a personal nature...Clearly, your thread has deviated from it's proper course...When I first arrived here, under edamo's advisement, I was hoping to find a good theatre for sophisticated options analysis...Unfortuneately, that hasn't been the case...

Despite the fact that I concur with your decision to intervene in the recent string of arguments, I definitely oppose your decision to "defend" LoF...This is not meant as a personal attack on LoF, but as I have said before, misinformation can be very destructive...In a variety of circumstances, he vehemently refused to admit the error of his posts, and for this reason, some of the thread members became increasingly frustrated and annoyed by his belligerence...

Clearly, the focus of your thread is to share ideas and information...I don't need to know that LoF claims to be "well over 10mm"...There is no merit in claiming to have executed certain trades, or to always be making money...An individual's financial situation is a personal matter, and should be kept that way...From my years in the market, I have always found that the most successful traders are the one's who kept the most silence in terms of their profitability...Not only do I disagree with LoF's decision to "talk big", I also highly doubt the truth to his words...I am certainly not alone on this view...

Finally, I believe that in order to best facilitate a healthy discussion on your thread, the focus should remain on discovering new and potentially lucrative options plays...I believe you are losing some key players in this regard, and it is unfortunate that one person has alienated so many...

I think it should be mentioned, that the frequency of one's posts should be kept to a minimum if they aren't aimed at sharing interesting information...Sometimes I wonder if this is your thread, or LoF's.....Tone him down...he's abrasive, and his posts often do much more harm then good...
