First U.S. Carrier to Announce Availability of Revolv Service;
General Availability Expected in First Quarter 2000

SAN DIEGO – Nov. 15, 1999 – Wireless Knowledge LLC, a joint
venture company between Microsoft Corp. and QUALCOMM,
today announced that AT&T will launch the RevolvSM service as
part of AT&T PocketNet service. Using AT&T's wireless Internet
phones for the PocketNet service, the Revolv service provides
business users with wireless access to their key corporate
information such as integrated email, calendar and contacts.

"This launch represents the realization of AT&T and Wireless
Knowledge's vision to deliver critical corporate data to wireless
phones and devices," said Eric Schultz, chairman and CEO of
Wireless Knowledge. "AT&T Wireless Services has worked with us
since the inception of Wireless Knowledge to evolve a quality
wireless data service that meets the needs of AT&T's corporate
customers."

"This is an important milestone for Wireless Knowledge, and we are
pleased with the progress the company has made with carriers like
AT&T to bring the Revolv service to market," said Paul Gross, vice
president, server applications at Microsoft. "Our vision is

to enable pervasive information access. Wireless Knowledge,
together with AT&T, is making this a reality."

AT&T has already signed a number of agreements with key
corporate customers for the Revolv service. Both AT&T and
Wireless Knowledge are currently working with those customers to
deploy the Revolv service within their corporate environments.

"We welcome the Revolv service from Wireless Knowledge as a
powerful way to meet the wireless data needs of Microsoft Exchange
5.5 customers," said Kendra VanderMeulen, senior vice president,
product development and strategy, AT&T Wireless. "The Revolv
service allows mobile professionals easy access to their corporate
email, contact and calendar information. Coupled with AT&T's flat
rate pricing, Revolv provides a compelling wireless data solution for
businesses."

Implemented as part of the PocketNet architecture, through the
Revolv service, AT&T's business customers will now have
interactive access to their Microsoft Exchange information via the
Mitsubishi MA-T250 digital handset. Users will be able to read their
email, check their calendar and bring up contact information
including phone numbers and addresses.

With the Revolv service, the productivity of collaborative computing
(integrated email, calendar and contacts) is extended from the
desktop to wireless devices. The service provides a secure real-time
view of the corporate server-based information. Users access
existing corporate data, so there is no need to synchronize
information and no need for an additional email address. A Revolv
service user can read an email from their corporate server and
immediately respond by placing a phone call or sending an email, all
with the push of a button.

AT&T set the standard for wireless data two years ago by offering
PocketNet service on the industry's first Internet phones. AT&T
was also the first to provide customers with flat-rate pricing for these
services. With the Revolv service, a whole new dimension of instant
communication and user convenience is available to PocketNet
customers. AT&T uses Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) to
deliver wireless data services to its customers. CDPD is available in
70 percent of all metropolitan areas in the United States.
