John, For your own good cover your short and get the HELL out of the way. I've been in this one for years and when SUNW breaks out there is no telling how HIGH it will go!

SUNW will keep eating into its backlog and FY2001 will be a troublesome year for SUNW.

As I recall from the last conf call the backlog increased by close to $500M.

SUNW's valuation will soon correct. It's PE is ripe for
correcting to about 50 or so. The decline will be painful.

??????? Are you the one who has been going around
talking about the soon-to-be-expected resurrection
of the fatherland led by Herr Haider???

SUNW has a few tricks up it's sleeve. Yesterday it's initiatives in storage were made public. Within a few months, I would not be surprised to read articles lauding SUNW for the quiet way it moved into, then dominanted the cyberspace warehouse bulk goods retailer niche.

How do I know this? Well, unless you are also the the CSCO thread, you did not see my report after doing a little shopping at CSCO's MarketPlace last night. I passed on the martini shaker set, but ordered some golf balls for my father.

Today, I made the following posting on the CSCO thread. Since it involves SUNW, I'm also putting most of it here:

After going "shopping" at CSCO last night, I decided to go over to SUNW's site and see if they sold mugs and shirts.

Ha ha ha! SUNW's store is like a BJ's warehouse in cyberspace compared to CSCO's Bloomindale's-like store. CSCO just has photos of the items--like a Williams-Sonoma catalogue--whereas SUNW has its employees model things, like some of the catalogues I receive from ma-pa fly fishing stores [as opposed to Orvis].

1-99 SUNW t-shirts cost $9.80 whereas they only cost $6.90 each if 700 or more are ordered. The cheapest mug? $3.10 for one, $1.60 each for 3,250+!!! Bushnell binoculars only cost $29.90 if 200+ are ordered at a time. Free shipping. **AND**... SUNW even has a link so people can easily bid on SUNW things over at eBay!!!

Oh, these companies make me laugh. SUNW is very, very smart to be going after the
wholesale market for its binoculars, clothing, and yo-yo's. To me this shows they
recognize that CSCO has the more upscale market tied up and are not going to bother competing.

Think I'll only order a few mugs and one t-shirt from SUNW.

Move over BJ's. Adios Sam's Club. Bye bye Costco. Here comes the SUNw!
