Sorry I have nothing original of my own to add today. This is an interesting item from another thread:

Moving on up to the big time. If anyone has paid attention to the streaming video market scetor over the past year one fact stands out and that is the number of quality companies with staying power is not huge. This hasn't gone unnoticed by the most agressive players in the space as we have seen companies much larger than ONT swallowed up others e.g. Broadcast.com last spring and ITVU this week. If you have followed the develpoment of ITVU and you are aware of ONT's current evolvement, its not too difficult to envsion a similar scenario unfolding here. The investment by United Airlines is significant well beyond the immediate collateral business opportunities it presents. IMO, a much more important consideration is the growing awareness of ONT's capability and the increasing legitimacy that such visible deals bring to the company. As the ONT story continues to unfold it would not be surprising to find some other players starting to cast their nets for this fish.
