Ford, Delta giving 400,000 employees new PCs. Not
internet terminals. Count on at least $250 revenues
for each of these. That is a cool $100 million to MSFT.
But this is only the tip of the ice berg. The trend is
going to spread to industry.

Did you guys notice. In Japan, PC penetration is 28% is
expected to double in 2 years.

PC sales in Jan was outstanding, and grew over 25%, imo,
after December Y2K lull.

Windows 2000 is already selling like hotcake, even before
launch.

Abbigail and Johnd, I have never come accross so many positive in MSFT stock at any one time since about 1 year ago.

The good thing now is that the DOJ etc. has all been factored into the stock price.

If one wants to make money going forward, MSFT and Intel are a great bet.

MSFT at this price is a steal. That is the conclusion people will reach in a couple of weeks as well when they realize what an opportunity this week had been.
