North Vancouver, BC, Canada - dba Telecom Corporation (CDNX: DBA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Garry Hines as CEO of the Company. Most recently, Mr. Hines was General Manager of dba Telecom Australia Pty Ltd. responsible for all business activities in Australia and New Zealand. He brings a wealth of experience primarily in the telecom industry in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and the Asian region. Mr Hines experience includes the successful development of companies in both the telecom manufacturing and services sectors. Mr. Hines will assume his new position on February 21, 2000. Mr. Hines succeeds John R. Henderson who has resigned as CEO to pursue his other business interests. Mr. Henderson, who played a leading role in the successful restructuring of the Company, will remain actively involved as a director of the Company.
