Jim: dont forget the other two pieces to the equation. In addition to technology and demand, you also have execution and marketing.

I still find it very hard to believe that G* does not have a back up plan in-place if the current rates do not catch on with the identified vertical markets. (you know the Finnish sailors practicing for the Olympics)

You misunderstood my post. I'm will seriously believe Globastar success when the phones will finally arrive. The ISDN thing was only mentioned to Tero, because ISDN the "coolest" technology new here (in Estonia and Finland).
Our telecom just started to market it
