sonny, and dell holders: just finished dell conf call. dell beyond the box: non system rev: 16 % of total rev. growing at 40-50% rate deal w. aol will hlelp. future growth : 5% sequential growth. flaaat eps. dell turned corner but will be a slow turn. dont expect big rush to win 2k . New systems will be purhased ( w. more memories etc) to accomodated win 2k later this year. This will help dell now even if upgrades to w2k come later. =============== rumors circulated that aol and .twx are shoring up their team of investment banks amid concerns a rival bidder may attempt to break-up merger

Hi Sonny, Nice article about WCOM. You didn't give me a chance to post it. <GGGG> The excellent earnings should keep the stock afloat for a while. I liked the comments about how there money will be made in the data services. That's part of the reason I told you want my company is up to. If we are investing that much in our network then I knew others would be too. Things are going pretty well on that front. I think we will make the goal of 75 stores live by 4/1. It's fun to talk to people from all over the country. I had to think of ya'll when I was telling a nice man in south Carolina that his MCI bill would be $3-400 a month. The Holy S**T in a southern accent was just priceless. I just couldn't help but laugh. I tried again.. to get out your way. One of the techs was upset he's not going to Berkeley, ca. Instead he's off to Maryland. I told him I'd take Maryland, I could impersonate a tech. <LOL!!!> Well I finally picked up the phone at got myself some MSFT.. Again. Yes, it will probably be a little dead for a while. W2K is coming out soon and I just couldn't resist the price today. I put it in the 'taxable'/'forget about it' account. I told my broker maybe it could buy me a trip to Italy when I'm 50. <GGG> So if anyone is watching it maybe Monday would be the day to buy if you didn't today. Since everytime I buy something it heads south!! <GGG> Well I'm out of here for the weekend. I'm got construction workers at my house. Need to stop and pick up some beer!! Got to keep um happy. We are remodeling/fixing my master bath. What a mess!! It will be nice when we get it done. I had no idea how much tile layers make. I think I'm in the wrong business!!! <LOL!!> Have a good weekend!!
