HGSI... Human Genome Sciences. They're one of the leading genomics research companies. I'm in at $65 at what seems to be a little over a month ago.

**OT** Since this is LTB&H

HGSI what the heck is it?

Human Genome Sciences, Inc.

Several years ago pursuing my Dillinger principle (mentioned here earlier), I looked into biotech. I came away disillusioned. The typical company seemed to be a 5 to 10 person operation that was in a desperate search to find a product before they had "burned" their money. Sure a few (very few) would make it big, but which ones? Even the "experts" seemed to have a difficult problem determining which would. So, since this is not my area of expertise (Not sure I have one.), I backed away. However there was the Human Genome project and since gene sequences were patentable, I decided to make a couple of small IPR bets. I chose HGSI and INCY as my biotech stocks for someone who doesn't understand biotech. Both are up now, but this mania will eventually subside. For me, they are LTB&H backburners that I don't follow closely. There is a SI HGSI thread that is sporadically used. From it I got
