Ken, in response to your questions:

1. Timeline and Car

Yes, I did drive and measure distance; I also walked the route. Yes, I also think the use of a car is highly probable. See: Message 12277880

2. Peter Stein

Peter has an alibi. He was on the phone in his room talking to his mother at 9:30. Again, sure, it's possible he still could have done it, but, again, very highly improbable. Here is what Peter told me: Message 12314024

3. Last person to see Suzanne

I've been to the police substation. You open a door and go inside. At 9:30 at night it most certainly was open. You raise a good question as to why if Suzanne actually spoke to someone there that person's name and the details surrounding the encounter have not come up. It might just be because the person was a (Yale) policeman that he wasn't allowed to speak to the media about anything. Yale did confirm that the keys indeed were dropped off "by 9:30", but if a more accurate time is known, or if anyone even recalls seeing her inside the substation, it's never been publicized.

I'm still trying to find out the name of the last person to have seen Suzanne "walking north on College." Every time someone thinks they know someone who knows it turns out they don't... or at least that's what they tell me.

P.S. The 20/20 show on the case is scheduled to run on Wednesday, March 1st. Jim (the professor) cooperated fully with them. Also, watch for some very interesting developments leading up to then. ;^)
