$CASH in Portfolio

Thanks, much better. However $ANYTHING does not seem to work. With several cash accounts spread all over the place it would be convenient if one could have more than one cash account in the portfolio.

The portfolio accepts $CASH multiple times...which will work but not the best solution.

Yahoo! portfolios still have SI beat by quite a bit. In addition to $$ANYTHING capability one can format the portfolio for MANY different views each configured to show different things..PE..earnings, market cap, dividends, Notes...

If SI wants to be a premier financial site they should take a look at Yahoo! portfolios and borrow a few ideas.

John, I guess allot of folks wanted some sort of Thread Header put back in place. Not really a bad idea to have "who" started the thread and when But it is a bit too big with lots of wasted space in it.

Can the box be made smaller? Maybe BOLD the persons name within the box for emphasis?

The whole idea of not showing the header was to save scrolling.

:-)

The "who wrote" link is gone in PM's!

You know, the link next to the originator's alias?

Thanks for your attention.

John, did SI expand the information (on the weekend) in one or more columns when viewing "Subjectmarks"? Offhand, the date/time (eg. "Feb 15, 2000 10:00 PM") looks like it is taking more room than before. The date/time now wraps to a second line and it's also crammed up against the number-of-posts column. Very hard on the eyeballs, and it double the height of every line. This is also occuring when viewing each block of 40 messages for a particular subject. The only way to fix it is to go full screen (F11 in IE) or move to a higher monitor resolution.

Could you possibly consider removing the year? On the subjects I monitor, I KNOW the last post was in Feb of 2000 and not Feb of 1999. You could also reduce the length of the date/time by using military time and skipping the AM/PM. This would greatly improve the readability of the columns.

John....National Discount Brokers has a separate sign in process as do all the online brokerage houses...it would be a great selling point if one could sign on to SI and when you hit the ndb link to be automatically signed in there as well.....

John,
Would you please fix the profile "Update."

I have been unable to make a change in my profile, when the update is hit, it takes me back to the original content.

Thanks
~Sarkie

John,
The clock!!!!
I know this is petty, but I have asked you several times, as well as I have seen other comments on the clock. For some reason you will not answer me or remedy the error.

Why can't you fix it?
That has to be one of the simplest fixes you have.

Please, fix the darn thing!!!!
