Mark, I hope you weren't the one who sold PNLK at 15 cents. On that day, PNLK was trading around 85 cents and whoop....all the way down to 15 cents and vzoom..all the way back to 85 cents.
Never put a stop loss or a sell order (if you are not intended to sell) for any stocks.

Johnny

Actually putting in market orders had been very good to me for a number of trades. There was one time I tried to do a sell on PNLK on a fast day. The price had peaked and I tried to do a market order on 5000 shares and buy back on the cat bounce. On paper that day I would have made over $5000. I would have increased my position in PNLK. Instead I lost $1200. Etrade took 16 minutes to complete my trade. No not everyone was selling. That what I thought. There were buys and sells as the price dropped. 500 shares were gone immediately. The other 4500 shares took the 16 minutes. So when it started rising back up I tried to buy back in with a market order. That went the same way. 500 shares immediately and then 16 minutes for the rest of the 4500 shares remaining. Boy was I pissed. Also you can not cancel the market order either after a partial fill. I used to have confidence in quick execution with market order. It was very disappointing. I complained to etrade and refused to send them a check for the difference. They ended up selling 300 of my PNLK shares for me for my bill.
