Yeah, I remember. It sure is a good thing Reagan won and the losers lost, otherwise we wouldn't be enjoying the Great Boom that began in 1982-83. Just as the world embraced the Reagan Revolution toward markets the Nobel was recently awarded to the architect of supply side economics. The US has been on a roll ever since.

George Sr. never lived that "voodoo" stuff down or the unnecessary tax hike that lost him his office after Reagan won him his first term. George Sr. had to run on his own and lost big to a duo of nothings, Clinton and Perot. Bush Jr. made a huge mistake hauling his old man out of mothballs.
