T: Besides which there's an old Sun Tzu, "The Art of War" philosophy that seems to have gone out of fashion in our modern age. That is, "an intelligent leader hides this fact from others through self-effacing mechanisms, and in this way lulls the opposition into making a fatal mistake, all while establishing his/her long term goal". I paraphrase, of course.

In other words...don't follow the appearance of an individual. Watch their actions and results. I've found this to be sound advice. Particularly in these "cult of personality"(to quote a song) days where the norm seems to be for everyone to chest thump and castigate. Sun Tzu's warrior ethos typically makes short work of such folk. Now this ain't to say Mr. W. ain't above a little promotion and hyperbole, as I distinctly remember one VLNC conference call where I happen to feel he embarrassed himself. It's just that the results speak for themselves.

Here's to hoisting a few at Sunset!
