Short the stock already.

I was pissed yesterday. I don't like the way this was handled. I don't think it was as clear cut as THQ said. It doesn't make sense? We'll find out in 8 trading days.

If THQ had a crappy game line-up I'd be gone. They don't, this year looks good.

This is NOT a bullish spin. This is a calm rational conclusion that if THQI blows two quarters and can hit something in the range of $1.50 for the year, they will trade at 20+ p/e in the fall/winter and that's considerably higher than the current price.

That's just logical.

The time to sell was anywhere to here. But selling now when the stock MAY go down another 4 points Max. doesn't make much sense.

I'd welcome $14 so I could buy more. Sigmund knows I love this shit.

Take care.

<<< What will it take? <<<<

That is what makes a market. Some think the stock will go up others think it will go down. You are upfront about your assessment and declare that if it goes up you will conclude that the downside is greater than the upside and will go short. I imagine that most would agree with that strategy the only difference being the price where each person would see the downside being more than the upside.

I think that from the same evidence you are likely to conclude that this balancing point is lower than the price which would make me go short. I think it is a personality type of thing.

I have looked at a number of your recent posts and I think I remember you posting about THQI on this thread on prior occasions. I think the following describes your philosophy:

"I find that the shorts tend to be right when they are still short a stock near its lows. At that point the momo crowd is gone and the stock tries to find support on fundamentals. And the shorts know the fundamentals better than the crowd, so they stay short."

Given that you think the shorts are smarter people, it is not surprising that you wish to belong to that group rather than the "crowd". I guess I am still part of the crowd. Maybe I will be able to become as smart as the shorts if I study real hard and read TheStreet.com regularly.
