Yes you could see quite a bounce in gold stocks - i was looking at a whole slew of them today on the charts and there were remarkable similarities throughout the group. If you own a stock like Kinross which is leveraged to the POG you might get quite a bang for your buck.

Gold isn't always rational - nor does it behave in a predictable way once it gets moving - and there are always other factors like the stock market. IMO gold stocks will be the benificiaries of a large market correction - because this time many of them are coming off lows with some momentum. In 1987 the gold stocks had moved up with the general market prior to the crash.
