<<< Maybe Brian is trying a sophisticated ploy to eliminate the short interest <<<

This appears to me to be the case. If you follow the hundreds of posts on Yahoo and look at the posts from people who have talked to or received email from THQI IR, you may come to the same conclusion that I have come to which is that IR at THQI has been essentially hinting that there is a plan to get rid of the shorts.

Most thought it would be some sort of positive press release or statement at the earnings CC. It was a surprise that the plan if there was a plan was to drive the price down to make it easier for the shorts to cover. Obviously THQI would never acknowledge that that was their intent. And I may be reading far to much into the reports of telephone conversations with and faxes from THQI IR.

But it is the only explanation that makes any sense to me other than BF losing it.

If you conclude that the intent was to make it easier for the shorts to cover, the next step is to speculate on the reason for doing so. Just getting the shorts out of the way might have been reason enough. Clearing the way for additional brokerage coverage might have been the reason, Clearing the way for a merger or other move might also be a reason but we may never know.

I suspect we have less shorts now than two days ago.

you guys must be joking (i wish) about the price being pushed lower to help facilitate a takeover. how about the acquiring company also happens to be shorting the stock to push the price lower? thqi is helping to facilitate the low share price. the shorts will close as the price rises, and they do so in an orderly fashion. you are thinking far too much, you could join hillary in the right wing conspiracy.

if someone made an offer for $50, it would come close to 50 before keep settling back until those shorts whom wished to close did so.

Why not find who was shorting and call them.

Hey buddy, you better get the hell out in the next two months - we're going to be sold.

Don't kill yourself by jacking the price up too fast, I won't release any information during this two months so you better take this serious.

- That's another concept.

It's about the only thing that makes sense. We'll see.
