Greg -

[[Kind of curious that the Bid should be sitting at $37. What does this mean?]]

Nothing.

For some reason, many of the normal quote services have started to display some of the the after hours limit orders of the ECNs in the last two weeks. Someone has placed a limit order to buy as little as 100 shares for 37. Schwab displays this, for example, but there is no ask quote at all. The quotes were more useful when they just represented the closing quotes. When looking at the after hours quotes, only those with a relatively small spread have any validity at all, and in most cases there is no useful size available, and if there were, you most likely would not want to take the opposite side of the trade.
