Heinz, word has it Republicans are tiring of Treasury dept. manipulation...hmmm.. perhaps they prefer inheriting a 7% yield. Either way they get a tough cookie.

Heinz, I just noticed that new 52-week lows on the SPX just hit 79 -- the highest value since 10/08/98. The number of SPX stocks above the 200 day MA is 136. For comparison, this number maxed out at 421 on 4/21/98 and the low was 103 on 8/31/98. Looking at the strength of the NDX, one would never guess that the 73% of the companies in the SPX are very sick.
