Jack, I would say you were reading my mind, but you don't know me!! If MdNealy came in, LU would probably do a lot more than pop 50, because he would bring a his whole team with him. Do you agree? I have a close friend at SUN, Alex Sheerwood, and he has enjoyed a huge profit ride at SUN, the company's employee's are VERY LOYAL. I look at LU like AT&T, but LU is on the right track, and T is on the wrong one. LU is putting its hands in all the right places, filling gaps, pushing forward, remember the turtle? AT&T seems to be grasping for straws...too bad, because they have a lot of talent. The answer to your question, Yes, some Asender's are bailing out, but those who have bailed....are long gone. If you were an ASND middle manager, and you just learned that one of the largest company's in the world was coming in to ask you for your expertise, would you head for the door, or would you wait for the LU stock option plan, retirement package, etc.???? OR, would you rather be labeled a "floater," jump to 3Com, wait for them to get absorbed, jump to ????? Eventually you run out of places to jump, and nobody wants you because they know you are not LOYAL. Do you think the company's who picked up all the ASNDER'S who bailed actually see them as LOYAL? Sorry to ramble, but I think you get my point. I would bet my C note that LU is the first "trillion dollar company," and Barron's can print that if they wish. Further as the first SI member to post it, who sends me the bottle of champagne? I would love to McNealy come aboard, but I just don't see it as a reality, do you know something I don't? Jack thanks for the post, I find your post more interesting than any others I have read... Best, Jamie
