SO, Actually, I'm a buy and hold kind of guy. I've just been getting much better at identifying "the bottom". Since there is not enough money to float everything, I've been able to find a couple of good tech stocks to own when they go out of fashion. (Oh yeah, gold too <g>) The wave returns periodically, and since I'm identifying "the low", I set really good support levels. Of course, a discontinuos market will blast that "but I'm better than everyone else and will know when to get out" <ggg> Ok, well at least I'll know when to average down (and have some cash to do it).
