Imagine that they moved out of that store front about 18 years ago!!?? Remember, that is one of biotech's very oldest of companies.

In rallies like this, companies sometimes seek levels which they can't sustain. Would like to see them make it, and lots of really nice people at SI follow them closely.

Influencing the trading of BTRN? Yes, every stock does what I tell it to do, 1 1/2 years late.

:-(

Every biotech is going up right now. It is very gratifying to see the companies that are very undervalued, on a relative basis, outperforming over the past few days. The real skill, however, is telling which stocks will still be up in five years. I fully expect that BTRN will be among them, but these are very difficult clinical situations to master.

>> ps: compare long term charts (time=Q) for CYTO and RGEN <<

You've picked two very good companies to compare..... big money affairs, driven into the ground by management teams that didn't have a grasp. That was what their contemporaries were saying, not what hindsight says. CYTO was trying to force square peg into round hole, and RGEN was working with products in search of indications. Ugly days for biotech, very predictable. Both companies now brought back to life with dedicated teams.

What a rally! Going to be an awful lot of people who get burned, however, when the music stops. There are still undervalued companies out there, but they're getting tough to spot. Do you follow Miljenko? Let's take further discussion on that theme to the BVF thread.

Cheers! Rick
