Talking to a doctor who has never seen you is not the same thing as being seen by this physician, and evaluated to find out the true nature of your illness. Even if you described your symptoms correctly, what if you had pneumonia, or another life threatening illness...not the flu. Or what if you had a reaction to the medication. Taking prescription drugs isn't as simple as the T.V. ads make it seem...there are risks to any medication.

The "easy way" out for most busy physicians would be to phone in any prescription drug a patient wanted. However, the easy way is not practicing good medicine. Remember the person who graduated #1 from the Med School Class, and the person who graduated last from the Med School Class...are both called doctor. You want a physician who will "do the right thing"....not necessarily take the "easy way" out.

>Just wanted to highlight that there *is* a market for mail order prescription drugs.<

I agree with you 100%! I already use Drugstore.com as well as Web Van!
