JAKE, Reading SEC filings make my eyes glaze over and give me brainache !! 'ironfurnance' comes to the rescue with his take and predictions: <<<thoughts from the ironfurnace by: ironfurnace 2/11/00 8:13 pm Msg: 21536 of 21543 The quick and dirty about the shares in the recent filing is that they belong to financiers, not insiders of fonix. These shares are old news and have already been discounted in the general view of fonix. They may already be out there in the market in fact. The financiers of late have started to partner with fonix in forgiving some obligations which came due when fonix was delisted from nasdaq. fonix was delisted as the share price fell below a buck reflecting great R&D costs coupled with chronic financial problems and with mismanagement. The R&D is now mature, the financial deals which set this stock on its ear are now history, and management has changed with a new CEO and a new Board of Directors. fonix is now better positioned than any time in its history. indeed, fonix has had an ?effective reverse split? in the sense that the share price tumble is allowing investors to buy ten times the number of shares than if the stock was still trading for 5-12 dollars. The bottom line on fonix is if you want to wait till deals with Intel, MSFT and others are inked, you will be paying about $35 a share or greater at that time. As opposed to buying now for a buck and change. If you choose to wait for more documented deals, fonix will still be a good buy at $35 a share. Of course you could visit the Intel Developers Conference in Palm Springs February 15-17 to see the technology yourself and to meet some of the fonix engineers. That is up to you. This information is from the ironfurnace, and has been annealed by heat, very hot.>>> My best, T.
