Interesting Article on Denial of Service Attacks: computerworld.com Refers to the recent attacks on Yahoo and other sites. The apparent strategy is to overwhelm the site with 1 GB/sec packet traffic. The quoted amount of traffic these sites can typically handle is 100 Mbit/sec. For those of us watching FC as it develops, especially for SANs these figures add perspective to the slow ramp and either bottlenecks or slower technologies in these systems. George D.
