Re: Boxes only comprise 55% of Dell's business,

I can't believe Kumar stated that as a positive for this
Q. Dell achieved that by taking it in the pants on desktop sales where revenue decreased by $100M vs Q3. That's not the way to show reduced reliance on a product category.

Hi J.G., ..Re:.They have now spread that risk especially with sdram vs rambus, as has Intel (which also suffered from Rambus delivery).

You have made a very interesting point and I'm interested in the SDRAM application. Was always wary of RAMBUS anyway because of the expense so SDRAM is very appealing. Can you provide any links where I can learn more about this alternative?

Cheers and TIA,

Lee

JGCordes, re:<<The price target for DELL of 55 is reasonable.>> I assume this is a 12 month price target. Am I correct? Since 55 represents Dell previous high, I really don't seeing it being such a great deal. Of course, those that got into the stock when it was 33, or in that range, will find it an attractive price target. For those that got in at 40 to 45+ it only a so, so target.

There are many other companies that offer the potential for a better ROI.
