Don:

I have to agree with your observations. I am amazed at the prices Dell manages to extract from some.

Still, generically, the pressure on Dell's prices is a nasty reality.

Best, Earlie

I saw Dan Niles saying that he is encouraged by the growth in their non-systems business, which was around 16% of revenue last quarter. He also said this segment is growing at 50% yoy. He said that the non-systems business is primarily non-hardware business.

I know that DELL just announced plans to do web hosting etc., but what kind of non-systems business are they currently doing ? The DELL.com auctions and other stuff cant be making that much money.
