Info for RNTK newcomers....

For a 1997 article written by one of the best oil & gas industry analysis groups, read thenewshen's Raging Bull post #9259 ...... some somewhat dated data but still quite good...

ragingbull.com

It's a good idea to download the lengthy but very good December 1998 industry research report by Arthur Tower of Howard Weil.....

rentechinc.com

Click on weilreport.doc link

A very good (and shorter) RNTK-specific report by the same author/organization can be downloaded at.........

members.aol.com

Don't miss RNTK's website corporate profile.......it is really worth reading........it includes a lot of new detail about 1999 and ongoing activities.....

rentechinc.com

And finally, my opinions on why RNTK will do well.......

This is at the heart of RNTK's ability to get a running start ahead of much of the competition.....

.......Of all the GTL companies out there, only RNTK and its partners are working on multiple near term projects that have economic advantages due to low capital requirements and/or low feedstock costs.

Industrial offgases.........no gasifier required, free feedstock

Methanol plant conversions...........low capital cost syngas front ends

Refinery bottoms.........some gasifiers in place.......low cost feedstock.........

Texaco's gasification/F-T initiatives presented 2/10/2000 are significant.

By the time the companies that are focussed on natural gas GTL get the ball rolling in that arena, multiple niche plants will be running with RNTK F-T.

By that time, perhaps TCC, PGS, TX and/or others will be ready to get RNTK F-T into the natural gas arena too.

Best wishes to all.
