So you think Kemp would have been a bigger failure than Bush proved to be?

Fiscal prudence? Bush was not prudent about spending. Spending shut up at a great rate. The budget would have been balanced years earlier had spending followed the budget caps. His contempt for his sole promise showed his lack of character. That undid him.

Of course its all conjecture about Kemp, but I don't see it. Kemp would not have riven his base.
