freeus....i would limit my focus to options on that which i have intimate knowledge of...both underlying fundamentals and long term price action. to chase any issue because it is newsworthy can be profitable as long as the momentum is intact. how many chased qcom above 200 and started paying extremely high prices for call options?

Good Morning, Freeus!

Were you the person the other day who made reference to your job getting in the way of making real money? Yes, I understand. I'm off to my part-time job this morning (have to leave in 20 minutes), get to see the first 5 minutes of the market, and then I won't be home until about 1pm MTZ (Market Time Zone) *grin*.

Of course, I do really like my part-time job, but I'm not making real money.

So. How's California these days? Are you planning on attending the QCOM shareholder's meeting?

Any option plays for today? I've still got the CSCO July put play that I initiated before earnings --- I can hope and wish, right?

The NAS really surprised me yesterday ---- it appears to me to have new strength. Today should be interesting.

ALL --- over on the EMC thread, they are complaining about how it seems the close is manipulated. I'm thinking about trying to take advantage of whats been happening. Maybe place an order at the close???
