$30 Oil - nahhh, we need $40 Oil ! - to make $25-$28 Oil look reasonable....

$40 - that's the ticket.

Remember the Saudi Oil Ministers - pledge for revenge.

$30 is not revenge - $30 will be tolerated as a speculative blip and those short futures traders will be all over it, if not here - soon. That is when the Saudi's will play their "REVENGE" card - watch...

A speculative blip to $40 will make the world "see Jesus" (pardon the analogy). Speculative futures traders can take crude $6-8 beyond the fundamentals in either direction at merely their will - on momenteum. If OPEC eased to where the "fundamentals" supported $20-$22 Oil - OPEC's knows the speculators would take that crack, as a window of opportunity to lay on the spin & hype and - "take her back down to $14-$16 potentially"...

Just watch.

It is NOT about $30 - it's about $40.

$40 makes $25 liveable, $30 doesnt even begin to raise the "pain meter" - and OPEC has the "mo" here finally, they "got the ball" - and they will NOT drop it here imho.

Going to get real interesting...

PS- keep your powder dry here boys;at DOW 9800 there will be bargains in the financials that rival Oil... and a DOW retrace will not be "initially" good for the OSX.

... don't walk like an Egyptian - but, "DO" think like an Arab... what would "you" do if you knew the futures markets and lived thru $8-$10 crude and had your treasuries, your kingdom & economy; not to mention your personal fortune - on the brink of collapse - merely due to the whims of speculative futures traders last year ???

Revenge is a strong part of that culture. I spent 18 mos. with a group of Kuwaiti & Iranian elite students in the late 70's - early 80's' a brilliant, fascinating and very, very predictable culture imo. The Saudi's have a lesson to teach the futures traders - just watch....
