Vman, you and UF need to trust your instincts or get a RADAR adjustment. I just need to watch my "girlish figure" so there is plenty of room on the porch for all our friends...are you going to finish that "Lite" beer?

Voltaire...if you feel strong about QCOM hitting the $160-165 level by the analyst meeting an aggressive approach would be to buy some OTM February calls which expire the 18th (the day after the meeting). Need to also keep in mind that PPI for February comes out on the 17th and CPI on the 18th. Could make for some pretty interesting plays.

Slightly less aggressive would be to do the same thing, but use March OTM's instead.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Although I have been mostly lurking...have enjoyed your porch thread immensely.

Voltaire,

Thank you for your many interesting posts. In light of the fact that the analysts' meeting next week is a regularly scheduled annual event, and not a special meeting, do you still think we will have a run up to the 160s?
